The war on Ukraine has led to an impact on supplies of sunflower oil. To allow food products containing sunflower oil to remain on sale, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) have advised that sunflower oil can be substituted with other vegetable oils without re-labelling the product.

Food businesses are looking to re-label products as quickly as possible. Customer safety is very important to us and we have been advised that allergic reactions to these other oils are very rare.
