Creed Foodservice are seeking a Product Data & Technical Compliance Administrator to maintain the integrity of data including allergen and nutritional information across a portfolio of software including our eCommerce and nutritional information menu systems.
Some responsibilities of the role include:
To review the robustness of product data held by Creed Foodservice.
To analyse product labels to ensure data provided by suppliers is accurate and compliant with relevant legislation.
Liaise with suppliers on detailed product information such as allergens and ingredient information.
To handle product barcode queries and to escalate issues with the relevant supplier.
To create and distribute reports internally on supplier product discrepancies and to charge according to the Creed Foodservice Supplier Charter.
To maintain product data during the life of the product on various internal and external platforms.
To collate and update product specifications, allergens and nutritional information including COSSH sheets.
To keep up to date with food related legislation such as EU1169/2011 and Natasha’s Law.
Support with business related projects.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated individual with a passion for food, interest in allergens and nutrition and a desire for excellence to train in this role and join our Commercial department. The successful candidate will be organised, with a keen eye for detail will enjoy using their passion for food in a hands-on role, they will also possess the following:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and are confident in conversation across all levels both in person and on the phone.
The ability to learn new systems quickly
Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to working
Food product knowledge and ideally experience of the food industry gained within a retail, wholesale, hospitality or foodservice environment
It would be advantageous if you have the following:
Good level of excel skills (Intermediate or Advanced)
A relevant degree level qualification in health and nutrition or similar
Experience working within a busy administration role
Experience working with ERP and/or eCommerce system
