INTRODUCTION

The Radmoor Restaurant & Bar is a training restaurant open to the general public five days a week. Food is prepared, cooked and served by students of Loughborough College working towards a variety of catering qualifications.

Strict Requirements

THE CHALLENGE

In order to meet strict curriculum requirements and demonstrate a broad range of cookery skills, The Radmoor’s talented, young chefs require fresh produce across all categories of the highest standards sourced from quality, local suppliers.

In addition to a five day lunch service, on Thursday evenings The Radmoor offers a fine dining experience with an A La Carte menu. The restaurant also hosts numerous themed evenings throughout the year and offers a range of hospitality packages for special events, dinners and private functions, as well as conferences and meetings. The venue also opens its doors as a cookery school for the general public.

The nature of the location and the associated strict health and safety requirements also demands tight delivery windows. The Radmoor’s chef lecturer knows his stuff! Darren competed for team GB at the 2016 International Culinary Olympics. After competing with over 2000 of the world’s top chefs he was awarded the bronze medal. THE SOLUTION

The Radmoor Restaurant became a Creed customer in early 2016. In line with stringent delivery requirements we reliably deliver meat, chilled and ambient products frequently within an allotted delivery slot. We take a genuine interest in the business and share the same passion for quality ingredients, great service and food innovation. Our Business Development Managers, telesales team and transport teams understand The Radmoor’s order fulfilment requirements and delivery time restrictions and have built strong relationships with The Radmoor’s team.

We understand that provenance is an important factor for The Radmoor.
Our on-site, fully accredited, EEC approved butchery provides top quality fresh meat with higher welfare accreditations and full traceability. As far as we’re concerned our service doesn’t stop at delivery. We add value in ways such as supporting the college’s team in the Country Range Student Chef Challenge 2017 semi-finals.
