Creed Family Butchers is an on-site, fully accredited, EEC approved butchery facility available for our customers across multiple sectors, including education, early years, care, leisure and café's, hotel and restaurant, and workplace.

The butchery has been providing top quality fresh meats and poultry for over 12 years, working with some of the UK’s most respected farmers and meat suppliers. Our team are highly committed and led by our Head of Butchery, Gary Hannis, who joined Creed in 2006 and has over 40 years’ butchery experience.

Our Butchery Range

Pork

Our RSPCA Assured, higher welfare, outdoor reared pork is sourced from the family-run West End Farm, situated in the picturesque Wiltshire downs, with devoted farmer Cameron Naughton. The pigs are free to roam outside in social family groups and are housed in large straw yards giving them space to forage and play.

We understand that offering full traceability and peace of mind as well as a strong provenance story is important for catering managers, making our pork range ideal, especially within the education and care sectors.


Beef

Our range of quality-assured, higher welfare Red Tractor British beef sourced from prime agricultural land in the West Country offers you popular joints from sirloin to topside, as well as bespoke cuts and packing to suit your requirements.

Be sure to feature provenance on your menus; insights show that consumers have confidence in assurance schemes and believe it’s important that they know where their meat comes from.


Lamb

Our British Lamb offers customers the reassurance of the British Lamb Quality Standard Mark. Alternatively, we also offer New Zealand Lamb, continuing with full traceability and provenance.

Renowned for its flavour, lamb is versatile for use on your menu in many forms, including burgers, kebabs, stews, hotpots, and pies.


Chicken & Poultry

Chicken is a national favourite and we’re delighted to be able to offer our customers a range of Red Tractor British chicken products, as well as EU sourced chicken breasts and additional poultry items such as turkey and duck.

Save preparation time and reduce the risk of cross-contamination with our pre-diced chicken products, including smaller diced options for easier portion control and consumption by those with smaller appetites.


Accreditations

  • Our butchery offering comes with the UK’s highest welfare accreditations such as RSPCA Assured, Red Tractor and the Quality Standards Mark.
  • RSPCA Assured is the RSPCA’s farm assurance and food labelling scheme in the UK. It looks at the welfare of animals farmed for food. Farms, hauliers and abattoirs are all assessed to the strict welfare standards.
  • Red Tractor is the UK’s largest food standards scheme championing British food, farming and consumer safety.
  • Quality Standards for beef and lamb is the only scheme in the UK to focus on eating quality – ensuring succulent and tender.
