Job Title: Trading Support Assistant
Salary: £12,350 Per Annum
Contract Type: Temporary, Part -time
Contracted: 25 hours per week on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Shift Pattern: 5 hour shifts between the hours of 8.30am and 5pm

Creed Foodservice are supporting Kickstart and are looking to fill two placements within our Trading Team based in Staverton.
You will provide support to the Trading and data team. This role will predominantly involve administration and will include completing internal forms, obtaining information from the sales team, customers and suppliers and data input. You will support the trading team with day-to-day tasks which will include making telephone calls and administration.

Within this role you will learn how to:
- Use different systems to create reports and document information.
- Prepare and send emails and documents to suppliers and internal customers.
- Find out key information from product reports.
- Speak with other departments about different products and suppliers.
- Manage and allocate emails within the Trading inbox to ensure that any queries are dealt with swiftly, with the full support of the Trading and Data Team.
- Make telephone calls, and pick up incoming calls from internal customers and suppliers.
- Support with finding out key information for business and sales presentations.
- Work with marketing to ensure that advertisements for the website and brochures that you receive from customers are suitable for the advertisement slot that has been purchased.
The Ideal Candidate:
To be eligible for this position you must be aged between 16 and 24, currently claiming Universal Credit and referred to us by your employability support officer.
It is essential that you have the following:

Good telephone manner.
Interested in food.
Good understanding of and willingness to learn IT Systems and MS Office including Excel.
Self-motivated and confident, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with a Foodservice or catering organisation would be advantageous.
Experience in an administration or secretarial role would be advantageous.
