“From the moment the tender was issued the Creed team were professional and “on it”. Their engagement was second to none, they were professional and dedicated throughout. The biggest thing noticeable to the Center Parcs team was the passion every employee showed throughout the process from the store’s personnel in depots to the account managers and the Senior leadership team.
They hit every milestone on the mobilisation plan. The back of house systems work was impeccable with over 900 products resourced, coded and allergen checked in record time. Where a product was not suitable for our dietary needs an alternative was quickly found and replaced.
On go live all villages noticed was a different lorry turning up at the store’s doors with slightly different boxes but with better product availability and service. Systems are talking to each other, and payments and orders are being processed on a daily basis. Service levels are above 98% - life is good.
It was a major risk to our business changing such a critical supplier weeks before we enter our peak summer holiday trading. A phrase which was used by our board was that this change was “like having open heart surgery on our business whilst the patient was still awake.” I am pleased to say this surgery was a total success.”

A traceable supply chain is a priority for us, hence the importance of working with a wholesaler like Creed with similar values, who is able to offer meat for example from assured sources. Parents have the reassurance that the nursery only uses Red Tractor Farm Assured meats, RSPCA Assured meats, Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certified sustainable seafood, organic milk and free-range eggs – all supplied through Creed.
