Oriental Duck Stir Fry

Duck Breast marinated in oriental spices, served with Chinese style stir fry vegetables.


  • 4x200g Madgetts Farm Duck Breast 900794
  • 120ml Major Oriental Mari-Base 177781
  • 30ml Vegalene Spray Oil (Can) 171411
  • 40ml Major Oriental Mari-Base 177781
  • 700g Beansprouts 600330
  • 700g Carrots 600221
  • 700g Onion – Finely Sliced 601081
  • 700g Green Cabbage – Finely Sliced 600181
  • 700g Bamboo Shoots – Finely Sliced
  • 700g Water Chestnuts – Finely Sliced
  • 700g Mushrooms – Finely Sliced 600768

Serves: 4


  1. Place duck in mari-bag and add major oriental maribase and seal.
  2. Massage and place in refrigerator for a minimum of two hours.
  3. Remove duck from bag and place fillets skin side up on a rack over a baking tray.
  4. Prick all over with a fork.
  5. Cook in the centre of a pre-heated oven at 200°c for 30 minutes.
  6. To stir-fry vegetables, heat oil in a wok, add vegetables and stir-fry for 2 – 3 minutes.
  7. Add the 40ml of major oriental mari-base and stirfry for a further 1 – 2 minutes.
  8. Place vegetables in the centre of a large plate.
  9. Slice duck and place on the top of the vegetables.
