Creed Foodservice has partnered with a number of ‘thought leaders’ to provide insights into some of the key challenges faced by busy caterers.
Launched to coincide with our annual event, Creed Food Festival, our Thought Leadership Programme covers topics such as allergens, recruitment, finance, cleaning and training, as well as reducing sugar and plant-based eating. Creed is working with HIT Training, Hillbrush, Allergy Action, Tonic Talent, The Coconut Tree and Hospitality Action, as well as chef Jay Halford and Maple from Canada. All articles will be included within the Exhibition Guide, which is being distributed on the day. Nearly 500 people are expected to attend the event at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern on 12 September.
Following the event, each insight article will be featured on the Industry Insight section of our website and championed on our social media platforms.
The campaign is part of Creed’s philosophy of partnering with our customers and giving them additional support to make their businesses successful. Purchasing is of course only one part of running a successful catering operation and we’ve found that many of our customers, especially those working independently, do not always have access to the latest information or legislation changes affecting other aspects of their business. We have partnered with some well-known companies who have given us some of their industry knowledge and experience, so we can support our customers by providing them with the latest insights.
Our annual trade show will have a food festival feeling this year, with outdoor cooking demonstrations, and the chance for customers to win an eco-friendly car.
Hosted by celebrity MasterChef winner and former England Rugby star, Phil Vickery MBE DL, the Creed Food Festival will take place on Thursday 12 September at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern. The event is open to caterers from across all foodservice channels to meet with suppliers and get up-to-date with the latest products on offer through Creed.
A big attraction at the festival will be outdoor cooking over fire, demonstrating to caterers how to cook superb food outdoors, to add another dimension to their catering offering. Using meat from Creed Family Butchers, the outdoor cooking will be showcasing how the right ingredients cooked over wood can create real theatre – ideal for pubs or hotels with upcoming events and functions.
The festival vibe will continue into the afternoon with drinks and live music, giving attendees the opportunity to network informally.
