Staff in the telesales and free trade teams at independent delivered wholesale company Creed Foodservice are getting in the saddle to ride 335 miles in 27 work days – without ever leaving the comfort of their offices!
Creed Foodservice has installed exercise bikes in its two tele-sales offices at Ilkeston, Derbyshire and Staverton in Gloucestershire, with the aim of cycling to raise funds for Bloomin’ Dementia, a Nottingham based support charity for people suffering from dementia and their families.
Creed cyclists are aiming to cycle the equivalent of Staverton to Ilkeston, down to High Wycombe, and then on to the Creed trade show taking place in Malvern, Worcestershire on the 20th September! This equates to 335 miles in 27 work days.
Rhian Hawkings, Marketing Controller at Creed Foodservice commented:
“Team Creed has already started on this mammoth cycle ride and is now on day three of the challenge. They are are currently 55 miles down, in other words over half way to Ilkeston, and the whole company is getting behind them with sponsorship. We are encouraging everyone visiting the offices to get on the bikes and spend five minutes cycling and contributing to this fantastic cause in time for our trade show this month.”
