The Creed Active initiative focuses on improving the mind, body and soul. As part of our initiative, we have partnered with WellChild to launch an exciting challenge!
The Creed Active WellChild Step Up Challenge launched on Saturday 1 June 2019. The challenge is to walk or run 10,000 miles within four weeks until Sunday 30 June. This equates to 40,000 steps per week or circa 5,700 steps per day – easy!
To kick start the challenge a team of 32 Creed employees, friends and family took part in the one-day 22-mile trek. The team conquered Cleeve, Crickley and Leckhampton Hill in Gloucestershire, taking in some of the best views that the Cotswolds has to offer. The day started at 7.15am with the team breaking off into smaller groups to tackle the challenge at different paces.
WellChild is the UK’s national children’s charity helping seriously ill children and young people to be cared for at home instead of in the hospital. With their team based locally in Cheltenham, WellChild is one of our main charities and we have worked closely with them for many years, supporting many events. So please dig deep and help us, to help them help as many children as possible.
