CCP’s Hamper Scamper appeal took place on Tuesday 18 December in Gloucester. Alex Luker (New Business Executive) and Zoe Knight (Sales Support Executive) spent the afternoon preparing hampers for disadvantaged families in the local community.
CCP is a charity that we regularly support and we have assisted with the Hamper Scamper in previous years. This year we provided CCP with a Creed vehicle and driver Simon Smith, to help CCP with donation collections and deliveries. Christmas is a special time of year, but for some people the expense and expectation can place a strain on families, particularly those facing homelessness or living in poverty. The Hamper Scamper is designed to redistribute donated food items to those in need the most.
“We spent the afternoon moving boxes, loading the hampers and lending a hand to support where we could. I was amazed by the number of donations coming in! It was very humbling to learn how many families really need this support and how many rely on CCP hampers to make Christmas happen. I would absolutely recommend anyone to go along and help next year.”
